Biography

 

Acorayda González is a lab technician in the Biological Oceanography Group (GOB) and her main role involves seawater quality analyses of a wide variety of parameters, such as organic matter, dissolved oxygen, nutrients and flow cytometry analysis, among others. She also manages the finances and logistics of the group’s ongoing projects, and she deals with daily operations in the lab, along with the maintenance of all the scientific equipment. She has also participated in all the mesocosms experiments carried out in collaboration with the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel since 2014, as well as in cientific cruises.
