Biography

Claudia de la Guardia studied Marine Sciences at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC, 2017-2022), where she developed her undergraduate thesis with the Biological Oceanography Group studying the relation between microbial community structure and organic matter. After finishing her studies, she joined GOB as a laboratory technician, focusing on phytoplankton identification by flow cytometry analysis, and also collaborating in other seawater quality analysis.
